Giuseppe Arcimboldo (clic aquí a Wiki), (también escrito Arcimboldi; Milán 1527 - íbidem; 11 de julio de 1593), fue un pintor italiano, conocido sobre todo por sus representaciones manieristas del rostro humano a partir de flores, frutas, plantas, animales u objetos; esto es, pintaba representaciones de estos objetos en el lienzo, colocados de tal manera que todo el conjunto tenía una semejanza reconocible con el sujeto retratado.


Giuseppe Arcimboldo (Clic here to Wiki) (also spelled Arcimboldi; 1527 - July 11, 1593) was an Italian painter best known for creating imaginative portrait heads made entirely of such objects as fruits, vegetables, flowers, fish, and books — that is, he painted representations of these objects on the canvas arranged in such a way that the whole collection of objects formed a recognizable likeness of the portrait subject.
